Oh well golly gee it's been a month.

I just felt a sudden urge to blog.

Anyway, I was thinking about some things that I said earlier this week. I said that if I had the chance to go overseas to study now, I would. You know, I'll pack everything and just leave because you don't know how much I want to get out of here.

Haha well I've never really told anyone everything about how I feel, but I feel so sick here. Suffocated or something. I know everyone says " Go overseas and you'll miss singapore so much you'll be begging to come back. "

That's like the one thing that I'll take a chance with. So what if I friggin miss Singapore, I'll just come back then.

Walking around, I don't feel like I have anyone's respect. People look at me and say, oh who's this, you know what? She doesn't look really chinese, hmm, I wonder what's she's made up from, hey how come her name's so long? Hey, why do you have two middle names? Kilbride? Joan? I mean like where do you come from? Oh so you're like half chinese? You don't look chinese at all. Haha, if you don't mind me saying, you look like those maids? yeah, you kinda do.

I don't know why I'm so angry sometimes. I am so sick of this place, honestly, I just want to leave. And people just tell me, don't be stupid, you can't leave.

Do you, honestly, even know how much I want to get out of here? You don't. No one really gets me. I want to go somewhere where people don't ask my race, don't ask me why my skin's this or that colour, why I want to wear makeup, why I want to dress the way I do, why i'm so fucking fat like you all tell me.

Don't be crazy, you tell me, and I'm sure you're sick of me talking about NY but in my five days there, I felt so much more at home, more accepted and appreciated by even the strangers that I met on the street than I've even felt back here.

I love my friends here so much, I really do. So much.

But how come I don't feel like it's home anymore as compared to a cold hotel room far away in another place?

So today,

I got called back to school by Mrs J.
Collected my DSA stuff! Which was really annoying, I went back to school just for DSA and blah.

I bathed 3 times.

Studied.(omg my day so boring.)

Went to run.
Ran for 20 minutes. Laughed at some random dude who was running because he ran one round and stopped and was like panting I felt like saying:

So for the past few days I have been:

Studying! For chinese mostly, but now that O's are over, it's kinda back to the other subjects.

Cleaning my room!
I reorganised all my clothes. I folded the casual and the PJ's and the spag tops into the same size.
First level : bags
Second level: PJ's
Third level: Baggy Tees and Shorts
Fourth level: Spags and sleeveless. Front row, black and white, back row, oranges, reds, yellows and greens.

Wardrobe: Colour co-ordinated from black to white.

All the dresses, fancy stuff and whatnots.

I think Im going a little nuts.
Right now Im redoing my study table and drawers and books.

NYC DAY 2

Woke up with jet lag to the max and headed for breakfast @ Europa! Weather was cold and for the first time I saw my breath like, condensing. HAHAHA. Okay, it was damn fun blowing out air and like, you know. I'm so inexposed lalalala. Went to the Guggenheim! Which was far far far more interesting than the met and we had fun yeah. :)

NYC DAY ONE
Arrived at JFK airport around 10 to 11 in the morning! The flight was like horribly long. Weather was at 22 degrees and it was pretty hot for our first day there.
Went to the Metropolitain Museum which was really friggin boring and, well boring.

Leaving Singapore!

There was so much food at every meal we all just couldn't finish it up.

The movies were actually kinda boring.
Caught sweeny todd, PS I love you, My llth mother(GREAT), Sky of Love(MADE ME CRY), a little bit of The Kite Runner, I am Legend, CSI, Supernatural...

-56 degrees outside the plane! There was ice everywhere.

This truck/monster thing was friggin huge! Doesn't look too big here but you have to see it. It was gigantic and the police where everywhere in NYC. Like everywhere everywhere.

OKAY, thats all for day one folks. Its 7 30 am now and I got up at 0530 just now after sleeping for two hours. Jet lag is really horrible.

Singapore's pretty dull compared to NY. Techinically in terms of food, people and well, WEATHER, and lots more.
So people from SG and the US feel that : "I need more guys in my life." HAHAHAHAH. I don't get it, I mean like, I feel fine the way I am now yo.

I'm going to get rich and move to NY one day one long long day or maybe some other part of the US. That's going to be number one on my agenda.
After NY, I kinda detest SG cause, it's just so boring. Yes, it's much safer than the states where after 8 you gotta be with a guy or you'll probably get in trouble...but,
too safe gets too safe after a while.

If you asked me what I liked most about NY, or what I'm going to miss the most, it's going to be the people. Everyone's sane, and pretty much friendly to the extreme, I mean, HAVE YOU EVER WALKED DOWN ORCHARD ROAD AND JUST SMILED AT SOMEONE YOU DONT KNOW? Hahahha. No yah?
I even talked to the hot dog vendor/roxy store employee who asked me to sing in the middle of times square/airport moving thingy dude/candy store guy who kept calling me sweetheart/dude in the hotel room next to me/the lady choir conductor over there/random students from the US/random people on the street/ too much more.

That never happens in SG.. :( which is pretty sad.

Wear makeup here when you're 13 and people call you vain, eat too much and people say you're fat and tell you to exercise, don't do well in school or go to college and you're damned for life, sing in the street and have people stare, don't look chinese and people wonder why you're friends with them, be loud and people say you're annoying..

Over there,
You get a decent job even if you only just finish high school and no one cares if you do something crazy in the middle of town, and everyone eats well, properly and the food costs nothing and its like a dream because you get to do so much. Human rights, really.

And if you didn't know, my school's PE uniform is a YELLOW SLEVELESS TOP WITH LIKE BLUE SHORTS HAHAHA. We don't look bad. It's just really troublesome to change out.

I hate going to the washroom, waiting in queue for the cubicle, then changing inside with like the smelly toilet bowl next to you. Which sometimes has like friggin RED STUFF cause some people DONT KNOW HOW TO FLUSH THE TOILET especially when THEY HAVE THEIR PERIOD....

Today was so funnnnn after choir and all. We haven't had a committee meeting since Nov so it was really just great sitting around in the music room till 7pm in school. First time I laughed so hard in ages!

I promise this is the last of my very emotional and depressing posts.

After today I realised that I have to change my way of falling and believeing everything that seems good to me. It's the real world and not everything's for real.

People don't mean what they say and people don't actually do the things they say they will do.

They give you hope, maybe happiness, but maybe after awhile they forget what they say.

You can't be so stupid to fall into anything that you like, or want.

This is the first time I've felt so hopeful, so certain, so sure. But then something small comes along and it just destroys everything you think you have.

Maybe it's 2008.
Maybe it's just not my year.
Maybe something happened last year that just completely changed me.
Maybe it's school, maybe it's just my imagination.
Maybe it's how I'm crying now for no reason but I feel as if I've got nothing, and really no one.
Maybe it's fear. Maybe it's intimidation.
Maybe I've tried too many times to find something to hold on to but I just can't.

This week has been the most disappointing and happy week ever. I don't think I've ever laughed so much, drank so much, slept so much, been so jealous, BLUSHED so much and my list could go onnnnn and on.

CNY brought happiness and money and yeah one of my greatest fears came true but I'm not going to let that make me cry. I've cried too much over this, and it's enough.

But innyhoo, CNY has been great. I think I'm growing more mature now. (BIG HAHA ON THAT ONE) If you ask me now, about how I feel, I'd say I think I'm falling.

Not in love, no, love doesn't happen that fast, but I'm falling into something, definately. Something good.
And then at the same time I think I'm jealous..of something.

But most of all I feel happy.

"Damnit!" Amy jumped up in an instant, forgetting the raw stiches on her abdomen that sent pain tearing down her thighs.

She crouched back down, only to step on a teacup filled to the brim with scum. Falling backwards she grabbed hold of the telephone cord that hung loosely from the table, and at the same time pushing a row of books with her other hand.

"Oh shit.."
The books came tumbling down, one after another, hitting her head over and over again until the last one fell, right on her left pinky.

I did my first proper study in two weeks and I'm pretty satisfied. It was surprisingly enjoyable.
I'm loaded with tests and tests this week and the next. Somehow my 1.30m A math teacher makes lessons excruciatingly funny. (She can't reach the top of the board.)

During assembly this morning, I was reading "My Journey". I've been trying to do my quiet time in the morning, before school and I've only been sucessful once. The snooze button is ohhh so tempting..zzz.

Anyway, today's scripture and reading was about prayer. Praying with disbelief and what nots. And I think for the first time ever, during silent reading in the carpark I prayed for someone with so much conviction and belief than before. I felt as if I was praying for that someone right next to her, and that she heard my every word.
Well I know God heard me :)

Off to bed now lovelies, it's time for some much needed slumber.

Church today. Somehow church felt different, like I was a tad bit happier today. It didn't feel so surreal, it just felt..better :)

And after long long I finally confessed to Sarah alot alot of things. Maybe I was waiting for her to ask or maybe I was looking for the chance.

And my heart was so much much more less burdened. It's not good to keep things to yourself, nooooo.

Now that I think about it, I'm glad I made the right decision. It would have been a mistake to do anything more. You told me to go and I have.

Good day today! School and running again with Weeee! (: It's much easier to run not looking up but rather looking at the track. My parents have not stopped calling, and it's like their so worried that I'm not okay. But really I am. Either way, thank God for my parents.

Really I think my body's much healthier now. I haven't bought fried food from school this month, haven't gone to the Gift Shop and wasted my money away, haven't slacked during the stupid level morning run. Wheeeee. Detox detox soon.

And no I'm not becoming a health freak or anything, I just want to eat right. And no I don't eat salads all the time yeah. I do eat. Alot actually. Hahaha.

It's Sunday again! :(

Not that I don't like Sundays but the day after Sunday is Monday and every student knows what Monday means. I don't mind lessons it's just the waking up early that I hate. I'm actually looking forward to lessons nowadayyyys.

The whole jogging thing now with Wee is reallly really making me happy :) Very belly happy. Because I know I exercise so when I eat stuff I don't have to worry about gaining wheeeeeee.

And no, I'm not obsessed with losing weight or anything so yep hahaha.

Dadddy's friends brought back these coookies from Australia and OMGOMGOMGOMG they are darn gooood. Some chocchipcookies that are amazing I cant remember the brand I think it's called Koala Brand. Lol. They're 40% chocolate chips ahhahhaha YUMMY.

Miss T talked to us again on Saturday about the NYC trip and now the price's gone close to $4000 per head. Ohhhhmyyygosh. $4000 for 3 nights there, food, lodging and a flight back and forth. Yeah, and it's almost two weeks away from the Chinese O's sooooo...

that sucks yeah.

I'LL GO TO NYC WHEN I GROW OLDER AND EARN MY OWN MONEY THEN I'LL GO AND SCREAM AND JUMP AROUND TIMES SQUARE AND BUY AND SHOP OR WHATEVER.

happy. Because there's one thing that keeps me going.

Swensens today with the family and the service was terrible. They put the 5 of us at a table for 4 and we were squashed and we asked for a change, they said

"sorry we're out of room".

Bloody right you're out of room theres like friggin empty tables everywhere. I was in such a foul mood and then they gave 4 cups of water for 5 of us, two menus, forgot my order, took away a drink which wasnt finished and alot more im telling you, I got so pissed off with the waitress.

By the time I got out of swensens I just wanted to dieeeee and my throat hurt so bad ughhhhh

stupid stupid stupid I wish I had gone home instead. Then my mom went with my dad and my sis went off with Adriaan( well thank you very much for giving all your attention to your boyfriend and ignoring me when i talk to you, yes thank you very much.) So i was left walking by myself alone.

I took off by myself after that. Going out with my family sometimes just makes me all irritated instead of what it's supposed to be-happy, I guess.

My parents talk to themselves, my sister sticks to her boyfriend and ignores me like I'm not there and I walk alone with my handphone hoping anyone calls so I don't have to talk to myself the whole time.

I'm serious, I don't want to be with my family at this point of time all they make me feel is rejected.

I'm staring at my A math textbook. I've been in and out of the washroom 3 times. I keep licking my lips.

Horrible, horrible friday night.

First week of school's over and one thing the teachers keep saying:
Ladies. This is your final year. O Levels are in 8 months. You have to start now. Now. Now. Now.
NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW.
Ohhhh okay we get it we need to start studying yes we know. I'm doing that alright yes I am I come home from school each day and collapse on the bed.

This year will be peeerrrfect I will make it perfect. Meaning..
1. I will have a sweet sixteen of a lifetime even though it's going to be during mid-years.
2. I will exercise and lose my flabs.
3. I will keep my hair long which is generally not really something perfect but whatever.
4. I will score 10 for my O's because I must.
5. I will have kept my promise to God on the 29th of June :)
6.I will keep my room clean.
7. I will NOT be lazy.

Ohwells. Lots of things I have to do this year. Like stop myself from laughing at some first years.
Yes alrighty so everyone was once like that. Honestly, I think everyone wants alot of attention in first year. But one thing I can't really tolerate sometimes is when they think their all big and mature and then they talk like they've got this a-c-c-e-n-t:
"oh golly! I'm like so totally in secondary school right now!" then they glare at you and their faces are like WTH, IM SO BIG. HAHAHAHA.

Back from camp this week. Had a funfunfun time, made new friends, played games blah blah-you know what we do in camp. :)
Glen Lim was great and very influencial :) He relates to youth velly belly well.
Intresting week anyhow. I found out that I cannot drink beer- well I can drink and swallow it but not in the other sense, I'll prolly die from drinking alcohol. Yes.

Got more christmas shopping done! I don't know why Daddy insists I have to buy new clothes during christmas and not new year but anyhow. New clothes means ultimate happiness.

This week was a really hmmm refreshing week? No. Uh good week? Tiring week? Weird week? no no no this week was a queer one. :)

Yesterday night I had a long talk with one of my friends and we cleared up incidents that I've had on my mind for very long. I saw a whole other different person in him, and it was kinda surprising that everything he said made perfect sense to me and really helped me to understand things from another point of view. It made me feel so much happier and I realised that there was another side to him that I've never seen before :) I could have talked the whole night but I was sleepy and went to bed at around 5?

More about yesterday: Jamming! Like like I havent done that in like like like ages. So fun yayers. Caroling practice ytd morning too. I spent so much time out I came home and wow so sleepy I wanted to collapse somemore my fender so irritating getting in the way! ): Hahaha.

Christmas is in 18 days! (:
Time for presents and wishes and visiting Daddy's side of the family.
My christmas shoppping is finally done. Clothes and presents and basically everything I need yay.

This weeeek was hellalots fun.
Spent so much time sleeeping on Monday and Tues. Wednesday was spent out with friends.

Watched The Tatooist which is really quite uh, whats the word..uh true to the title? Yeah whole show's about tatoos and it's real queer. Singapore actually looks like NYC in the start. Had B&J's at Vivo and walked and I got my B&J Lipbalm! ( Thank you Z, so sweet.)
Ate at chomp chomp after stingray and satay and the usual stuff from cc. (: Long day fun day.

Thursday was spent sleeping, again. Did a bit more of commonwealth and I got friggin bored soooo I watched 8 episodes of Devil beside you, fell in love with the lead actor who's such a rebel in the show and found out from trent that episode 11 of season 2 HEROES IS LIKE THE LAST EPISODE OF THE SEASON WHAT THE HELL I MEAN ELEVEN EPISODES??!?!? HEY WHYYYY WHY WHY MUST THE WRITERS STRIKE STILL GO ON IN THE STATES!?!?!?

Hahahaha once I read that line I kept laughing for no apparent reason and Sasi mentioned 'suck shit' so I said 'sucking shit' and uh I think something's wrong with me and the word 'shit' because right now it's just so darn funny. :) I've gone high on butthash/jenkem (which is literally just fermented human shit that can be used to get high)
